Bournemouth Prayer

NFHOP_Banner

In response to a call for prayer for Bournemouth, New Forest House of Prayer will be hosting a prayer gathering this Saturday at the Apostolic Faith Church in Winton. At the recent Roy Fields meetings we were encouraged to pray for our town and nation, in fact it is our responsibility to do so – if we who live here don’t, who else will?? This is an opportunity to gather from across the churches to worship and cry out corporately to God for Bournemouth, and to seek His heart and strategy for bringing His light into the darkness.

The prayer meetings will take place on the first Saturday of each month.

Venue: Apostolic Faith Church Hall, 66 Muscliffe Road, Winton, Bournemouth BH9 1NW

When: Saturday 6th Dec 7pm – 9pm

Consolidation

Dear Friends a number of churches have expressed interest in uniting around the TFTK agenda expressed in our vision statement. We are currently drawing interested parties together and in order to consolidate our efforts have needed to allow time for church governing commitees etc to consider their position. We will therefore be continuing to promote worthy events organised by individual local churches whilst giving time to consider our approach to joint events. We will, of course, keep you posted via the web site so keep watching this space.

Wonderful Spirit Filled Meetings Rock Bournemouth

Roy Fields and his wife Melanie arrived in Bournemouth on Thursday Oct 9th to begin a series of meeting on their "We are the Generation UK Tour" . We enjoyed three wonderful evenings, one held at St Andrews Church and the final two at The Salvation Army Citadel. Over 150 people made decisions for Christ, some for the first time and others recommitment. Saturday evening was particularly powerful. Roy wrote on his own web site www.runwithfire.com

"Tonight was off the charts with 550 in attendance. Close to 200 people lined up outside the Salvation Army 2 hours before the service started. The place was electric with Revival. (NO HYPE) From the first song the presence of God filled the place. Melanie spoke with passion as Roy did and then the altar call. 47 decisions tonight for Jesus! Hallelujah. Then Roy and Melanie laid hands on all to have an impartation of passion. Many people had to be carried out. It was truly an amazing night for all of us! UK is on fire! "

Roy and Melanie also took time out to address local leaders, encouraging everyone to press in to all that  God has for us.

Prophecy By Georgia Egge

Following the sad news of Todd Bentley’s personal situation many people have been devastated, not the least of which is pastor Stephen Strader from Ignited Chuch in Lakeland where the outpouring started. Despite the circumstances the outpouring continues and here follows a recent prophecy given by a member of Stephen’s team. Please pray for them as they move forward in serving the Lord together.

There is no turning back, says the lord.
This is real and this is war.
You have put your hand to the plow, now plow! You are making new and deeper furrows in spiritual ground.
You must plow ground that is rich and fallow with the potential to produce a great harvest.
My seed is going to bring forth a great harvest.
My seed is my people who have been empowered by me to reproduce the economy of heaven on the earth.
My seed is not to ever be found begging for bread!
I am the bread of life for you and in me you have all the potential that you need to bring heaven’s economy to my kingdom on earth.

Plow deeper and reach the seed that has been sown before you.
Investments were made for you for this day.
Great spiritual wealth is laid up for you.

Foundations were laid with the pattern of heaven.
Build on this!

My harvest is a harvest of those who understand the day they are living in.
My harvest is so great that there will not be granaries to contain it!
My churches will be filled!

I am building my church, says the lord, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Plow deep, go forward, have a new determination in your spirit.
There is no turning back, says the lord.
All has been prepared for you for this season.

Now plow in the spirit like never before!
I am giving seed to the sower – holy seed is in the hands of your god.
Let my kingdom be established in the earth.
All power, all potential has been given unto you.
Now plow deep in the spirit and find your inheritance!!

Ignite - St Andrews, Kinson Commence New Ecumenical Service

Few would deny that we are seeing a fresh move of God’s Holy Spirit and that this is an exciting time for God’s Church. He is moving powerfully across the world in this generation, and in particular many churches across the UK have seen an increased desire for more. For some years prophecies have been shared about the UK (the most well known is Jean Darnall’s vision in 1967 whilst staying at St. Mary’s church in Poole- copies are available on from Together for the Kingdom www.tftk.net and what we are seeing today are many Christians seeking after the Lord in a new way. It is so encouraging to see how God is igniting the hearts of Christians across the world so that they can bring this fire to their churches.

For some time now we have been challenged by the Lord to look at the wineskins we have for the new wine he is pouring out. We have seen a large number of ecumenical services starting across the UK and we feel that the Lord has been prompting us to host a new ecumenical service based at St. Andrew’s Church, Kinson this Thursday (6th November 2008). It is our hope that ‘Ignite’ will be a space where people can worship together and receive prayer for healing and anointing regardless of which denomination they worship in.

Please be assured that we are not intending to ‘sheep steal’ or in any way ‘compete’ with the ministry of any local Church. We have decided to hold Ignite on Thursday evenings (starting at 7:30) as we hope that it will not clash with too many other Church activities. At Ignite we will not be publicising any of the other activities St Andrew’s offers or asking for any form of offering for the work at St. Andrew’s. We are not trying to create another service for St. Andrew’s Church, rather we feel the Lord is asking us to create a space whereby people who are hungry for God can come midweek to worship and receive prayer.

We have called the service ‘Ignite’ as our prayer is that Jesus will ignite the sparks in all our hearts so that we become infernos who burn brightly for God and bless the community they are serving. If you would like more information please do contact the church office 01202 570 010.

Yours in Christ,

Pat Nesbitt

Leaders Meeting Report

On Thursday Aug 21st a number of local church leaders gathered to hear about how TFTK came into being and exchange views. The meeting was well attended and whilst we did not reach 100% agreement over every issue a real desire  for unity and revival was clearly on the heart of the majority of those in attendance. We recognised the need to build relationally as we seek God together concerning His purposes and plans. So, where do we go from here? It is clear that we now need to bring together a smaller group of leaders who  together share vision and anointing. Together we can prayerfully consider the best way forward as we move into all that God has for us. Pray for God’s wisdom and guidance in identifying the right people to move things forward and that we will be able to excercise good discernment and judgement as we seek to serve the whole Body of Christ in our local area. Pray also for God’s continued leading and blessing over every Church in our local area and much strength and encouragement for those who serve God by leading His people.
